In each of these areas, we are never satisfied if the only result of our investments is that they achieve goals for single organizations.  As a national foundation dedicated to promoting benefits for people beyond the reach of our grant dollars, we believe that our most important contribution is not money, but the ideas and useful lessons we capture, synthesize and communicate broadly from the work of our grantee organizations and from research that we commission.  Publications containing these effective ideas and practices can be downloaded for free from our Knowledge Center at  www.wallacefoundation.org.
