The Educational Leadership Action Network (ELAN) website is a resource for professionals dedicated to strengthening the performance of education leaders to improve achievement for all students, especially those in our nation's low-performing schools. A Cohesive Leadership System Drawing on lessons learned from Wallace-funded research and state-district work in strengthening education leadership, the foundation has produced a paper that discusses the potential as well as the challenges of an emerging concept of leadership called a "Cohesive Leadership System".
