Ayeola Boothe-Kinlaw

Program Officer

Ayeola Boothe-Kinlaw is an education Program Officer at The Wallace Foundation. Previously she spent years working with middle and high school youth in the Washington, D.C. Public Schools as a program coordinator and school liaison for a local non-profit organization. She held several positions at The College Board working to increase access to college. During her tenure, she was responsible for designing programs and policies in conjunction with school systems, state departments of education and the U.S. Department of Education that were credited with dramatically increasing the number of low-income and minority students who participated in the College Board’s Advance Placement Program.

Ayeola has addressed regional and national audiences on topics covering educational equity and access, college preparation and the achievement gap. She has been featured in Education Week, BET News and has appeared twice on the U.S. Department of Education’s cable television broadcast. Ayeola holds a B.S. from Duke University in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy and a Masters in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Administration, Planning and Social Policy.
