Mary Geras, Director of Finance since 1998, joined the Foundation in July 1992 as Assistant Controller.  Geras is responsible for all the accounting, budget, audit and tax functions of the Foundation.

Geras, who has more than thirty years of diverse accounting experience, came to the Foundation from BV Capital Markets Inc, where she was the CFO and compliance officer.  Before that, she held positions as an internal auditor at New York Life Insurance Company, manager of Financial Reporting at Marsh & McLennan Inc., and an auditor at Grant Thornton.  Geras is a CPA and earned her BBA summa cum laude from Bernard M. Baruch College, CUNY, and MS from Long Island University-CW Post in accounting.
