Senior Program Officer Rory MacPherson joined the Arts Team of The Wallace Foundation in 1990. His current work centers on managing efforts to build arts participation through the Wallace Excellence Awards and the Arts for Young People initiatives. MacPherson serves on several national advisory committees including the New York Steering Committee of the Arts and Business Council’s National Arts Marketing Project and Theatre Communications Group’s Theatre Facts Advisory Committee. Rory was formerly the assistant to the director of the NEXT WAVE Festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and has worked professionally as a musician, radio announcer and a magazine editor. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from Siena College, Loudonville, NY.
