Eugene School District 4J is creating a coordinated approach to professional development and resource allocation (money, people and time) so that leaders have the knowledge and skills, and the available resources, to ensure that the learning needs of every student are met. Eugene is directly confronting the challenges of cultural bias present in all school districts, helping all school employees at every level of the school district become aware of this bias and work toward eradicating it, with the goal of closing the achievement gap and reaching success for all students.
