Region One Learning Support Center of the New York City Department of Education is improving the continuity of its leadership by reducing turnover and focus on improving conditions, such as creating supportive school schedules that provide regular opportunities for the development of communities of practice, restructuring schools to create smaller, more manageable learning communities and create and support a continuum of leadership development/education leadership career ladder. This will include strong collaboration with the NYC Leadership Academy.
