Anthony Thai, CFA, joined the investment team at Wallace in 2012. He assists the chief investment officer in the management of the foundation’s investment portfolio. His responsibilities include contributing to asset allocation, risk management and the selection and monitoring of investment managers.
Before joining the foundation, Thai served as an economist for five years at the economic consulting firm Compass Lexecon—a subsidiary of FTI Consulting—where his responsibilities included analyzing financial and economic market data and performing asset valuations for clients.
Thai received an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He earned his undergraduate degrees in economics and statistics from the University of Chicago.
Outside the foundation, Thai volunteers on weekends with the nonprofit organization Minds Matter as a SAT test prep math instructor for accomplished high school students from low income families in New York City.
