Receptionist

Chase Hoffman joined The Wallace Foundation in 2023. In his role as receptionist, he provides a warm welcome to all staff members and guests, as well as assisting with special projects in both Communications, and Finance and Operations.

 

He came to the foundation by way of Pratt Institute, where he served as a program administrative assistant to the Center for Career and Professional Development, helping to advise Fulbright applicants and organize career events. Hoffman is also a writer, whose short stories and poetry can be found in numerous publications. His original comedy pilot was named a Second Rounder at the 2022 Austin Film Festival. 

 

Hoffman holds a B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, where he double-majored in writing and rhetoric as well as anthropology. During college, he also worked as an office assistant for the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies and interned in marketing communications for the College of Arts and Sciences. He enjoys watching television, reading, and methodically planning his future. He is proudly ambidextrous.
