Drawing on a survey of more than 900 foundations, this Foundation Center report looks at the nature and extent of activities beyond grant-making that foundations are pursuing to further their charitable missions. It’s a trend, the report says, that indicates philanthropies’ growing interest in promoting organizational strength and collaboration.
