The year 2010 was one of transition for Wallace, as the foundation launched a major initiative in summer and extended learning time, and new phases of work in school leadership and after school. In addition, Wallace’s founding president, M. Christine DeVita, announced that she would retire after 24 years of service. The report includes her farewell reflections.
