Community Partnerships for Cultural Participation: Concepts, Prospects, and Challenges. Early Findings Report

This Urban Institute report examines the first year of The Wallace Foundation’s five-year Community Partnerships for Cultural Participation initiative, which ended in 2003. The study finds that community foundations can work to strengthen arts and culture in their areas, but they also face notable challenges, including obstacles in creating and sustaining partnerships.
