Director of Human Resources, Information Technology and Shared Services
Sharon Clark joined the foundation in September 2004 as operations officer and in December 2004 was named director of operations. She is responsible for human resources and organization development, information technology and office services. Clark brings to Wallace her extensive leadership experience in all areas of human resources with Exxon Corporation and in corporate business management as a partner and executive vice president for Work & Family Benefits, Inc.
Clark served for 10 years as president of the Youth Services Board in Summit, New Jersey, a city agency providing after-school programs to middle school youngsters. She also was president of the board for a community child care organization for more than five years.
Clark is an officer on the board of trustees of Rosemont College. She also served as president of its alumni association. She holds a B.A. in English from Rosemont and an M.B.A. from Pace University, where she was a member of the first cohort in the Graduate Management Program for Women, fully funded by the Mellon Foundation.
