Big Thought, the Dallas-based, Wallace-supported arts learning organization that has become a model for how to introduce more and better arts education for children, received the 2009 Leadership Award in education from Americans for the Arts, the nation’s leading arts advocacy organization. “Our success is made possible because of the many collaborations we have developed that support the idea that every young mind should be immersed daily in opportunities to imagine, create and succeed," said Big Thought’s chief executive officer, Gigi Antoni, who accepted the award at Americans for the Arts’ annual meeting last week in Seattle.
