Webinar: Hours of Opportunity: Insights from Cities’ Efforts to Build Citywide Afterschool Systems

This webinar highlights findings from three forthcoming “Hours of Opportunity” reports commissioned by The Wallace Foundation and produced by RAND Education. Since 2003, The Wallace Foundation has supported efforts in five cities — Boston, Chicago, New York City, Providence, R.I., and Washington, D.C. — to develop coordinated systems of out-of-school time learning opportunities. The reports, which will be available in October, provide an overview and analysis of how these cities have improved coordination and expanded delivery of out-of-school time programs, including an examination of the use of management information systems to collect data and track participation.
