Effective principals are vital to creating and running high-quality schools, especially in low-income neighborhoods. But demand for good principals can often exceed supply.

The Principal Pipeline podcast features in-depth conversations with school principals, district-level leaders, state leaders and university officials who’ve developed strong principal pipelines, so that others can listen and learn from their experiences. Series One explores how these efforts proved to be feasible and affordable in six large school districts, while Series Two explores the effectiveness of building principal pipelines.

New episodes are released every Wednesday throughout the series run, and then catalogued here. Episodes are hosted by either Lucas Held, Director of Communications, or Ed Pauly, former Director of Research, for The Wallace Foundation.
