Attended by over 500 participants around the globe, the fourth conversation in
Reimagining the Future of the Arts begins with the question, “As the arts sector continues to navigate the pandemic and the road ahead,
how can organizations respond to what their communities need most?”
The session begins with a look at a recent study by Slover Linett Audience Research,
Centering the Picture: The role of race and ethnicity in cultural engagement in the U.S., an outgrowth of a major survey released in July, co-developed with the strategy and marketing firm LaPlaca Cohen. The findings were followed by a conversation with arts leaders working in various disciplines across the U.S. (see below for complete list of panelists).
The series brings together leading experts in the field to facilitate conversations around some of the most pressing issues facing the arts sector today. Each conversation is grounded in research commissioned or supported by Wallace, and additional details about future sessions will be released in the coming weeks.
