In this series of videos, scholars, researchers and leaders of afterschool arts programs lay out ways in which high-quality afterschool arts efforts can engage and retain young people ages 10 to 13.

Something to Say, a report on arts engagement based on more than 200 interviews with tweens, their families and experts in the field. In addition to insights from tweens themselves, the report includes 10 success principles for arts programs to follow.
Another series of videos demonstrates how six outstanding afterschool programs are using these principles to engage young people in the arts.
