Kate Schlinke

Investment Officer

​​​​​​​​Kate Schlinke joined the investment team at Wallace in 2021. She assists the chief investment officer in the management of the foundation’s investment portfolio. Her responsibilities include providing quantitative and qualitative support throughout all steps of the investment review and decision-making process.

 

Before arriving at Wallace, Schlinke was an investment analyst at VCU Investment Management Company, where she served in direct support of the chief investment officer and other investment professionals on the team responsible for managing the $2.0 billion endowment of Virginia Commonwealth University. In that position, she conducted in-depth diligence on several prospective investments and created presentations analyzing performance, risk, asset allocation and investment strategy for the company’s board and partners.

 

Originally from Providence, R.I., Schlinke received a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with concentrations in finance and marketing, and a minor in art history from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Va. She is also a CFA Level III candidate.​
