Focus Areas and Initiatives
We carry out initiatives nationally to promote equity and improve practice and policy in the arts, education, and youth development. Our aim is twofold: Help our grantees advance, and disseminate insights from their work to help others advance, too.
The Arts
Our work supports the vitality of arts organizations and their work in communities. We also seek to expand and enrich arts learning for young people.
School Leadership
Since 2000, Wallace has worked with school districts, universities, and states to shape effective leadership of school principals and other educators.
Youth Development
Wallace works to make high-quality education and enrichment experiences available to all young people, both in the classroom and in communities.
